Salaam Bombay Abhi Hockey Academy
In association with Salaam Bombay Foundation, an organisation strident in its ambition to create a tobacco-free world for children, our foundation has formed a hockey academy for girls between the ages of 12-13. Salaam Bombay is already active in over 49 municipal schools and 51 government aided schools in Mumbai with various academies dedicated to music, arts, crafts and other sports. The academy coaches around 120 girls from four different schools: New Sion Municipal School, Rajawadi Municipal Secondary School, SG Barve Nagar Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai Schoo and Sangamnagar Municipal School. The girls are coached on the grounds of the prestigious Khalsa College, known for its luminous sports background.
